High School Sports

Why is it when some one want to go to another school and play a sport they have to sit out for 30 days. That is only if they are on the varsity level. They shouldn't have to sit because they transfer to a school that they want to play for or will do better at. They shouldn't be punished for going to a school that they think will be better for them.

  1. I definitly do not agree with rule or whatever it may be. I believe everyon should be given an equal opportunity not matte the level they may be at. A season only lasts so long and on those 30 days that that person stood out for they could have been showing their skills.

  2. I agree with you. It is so dumb to have to sit out for 30 days. I think if your good enough to play as soon as you transfer then you should be able to. Some players are better than others, and they must accept the fact that in sports there are competition.

  3. I agree with you not the rule. So people really have talent and can't show it at the school the currently go to therefore they must transfer to another school. Its fair for the student and the school's sport espically if the student is very good.

  4. I agree with you. There are a lot of talented kids in high school teams but don't get to show their talents because the coach always has his/her favorite player and they wont give others the chance. I think that athletes should be able to transfer to other schools with out being punished.

  5. your right but its also a good thing beacause the big schools would take all the athletic kids

  6. I don’t agree for a simple reason that the students will abuse the system. They will play on multiple teams, gathering information on the apposing players, make the team unstable by losing or gaining players, and purposely losing an important match to throw off the entire team.

  7. I think the rule needs to stay because the divisions will be unfair. If players are switching every year to the team that looks like they can win it all then there will be no chance for any of the other teams. Plus high school sports are weak theres no reason to go to another school its all abould the club teams.
