We have all heard about senioritis since freshman year. All the teachers warning us to be careful and not get sucked in, but it is inevitable that every person eventually succumbs to it. Some students may hold off a little longer than others may but in the last couple of months of school , no senior feels like doing anything school related. Juniors joke about how senioritis has kicked in but until the warm weather comes and graduation is within our reach they have no idea what senioritis really is. Throughout my years in high school, it was very important to me to get my work done on time even if meant staying up late to get it finished. Yet here I am as the weather is getting warm and I cannot wait for graduation finishing my blog 2 weeks after it was due along with the comments that are due tomorrow.

I really think that the juniors will feel exactly the way we do when they become seniors next year, and around this time. Summer is almost here, and graduation. We just want to get out go to college, and move on with our lives. Is that such a bad thing juniors hah ?
ReplyDeleteThis is so true. Most of us have been here for four years now and actually all have been attending school for nearly 12 years now and its something about this finally year where you just want to let loose and can feel the end closing in. The end being graduation, the day we got our diplomas and get out of this place we are truely say we can't wait to get out of. Yea, it may be tearful that most of us are going to miss these days and the people we have met along the way, but this is the start where we begin our journey of finding out what is our next step and who will be going to college or not. Just remember one thing senioritis will most like get yall juniors so if you know your going to get it, hopefully you guys picked some classes yall know you can get easy A's in.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree.I didn't expect it to hit me this hard but it as. MAny of my classes i try not to slack but i cant help it.Ask mRs. Adair. I have a 37 in her class. Im not proud of it.
ReplyDeleteMost seniors have next year planned out. College or no college. High school is pretty much over. We did the work for the past 3 and half years. I don't see a problem with taking a break before going to college and doing alot more work.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing wrong with wanting to take it easy one month before school lets out and we graduate from a place that we just devoted the last 4 years of our lives to. Teachers need to try to understand that we work hard and we give a majority of our time to this place throughout the year... now is a time of transition for us as we step out into the world... we could use a nice break before it starts because most of will be busy working and preparing for college and the many expenses we will have very soon. Teachers should take it easy on us considering us so that the problem of senioritis which can't really be entirely avoided isn't as severe.
ReplyDeleteLast year, i didn't even believe it was possible. I honestly figured this year would just be like every other. Clearly not. It started the first day, I came in careless. I don't even know what to do with myself. But then again I can wait for graduation because as much as I'd love to go, im really going to miss everything.
ReplyDeleteYeah I can't wait till school is over which led to me to not caring about my school work anymore and doing pretty bad last marking period. When i saw my grades drop like that I started paying attention again because I would hate to be left back that resulted from being lazy or senioritis when im only one month away from graduating. I want to hurry up and graduate so i can live my own life how I want it.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was in Calc I began to understand what senioritis was. I was in a class with all seniors and a couple of juniors. I believe that when your in a class like that senioritis begins, but it really doesn't really kick in until your senior year, I find it so hard to complete my work now just because I know that I can fail all of my classes for the rest of the year and still graduate.
