Payed to get good grades?

Over the years schools have been more about business, paying students for good grades.In the hopes of motivating student to study and work harder. People believe it is wrong to have a mind set in young children that everything revolves around money.Also by having this mind set down in the future these kids who are now teens/adults will have the mind set of " Oh if I'm not getting rewarded then why should i try".For example helping someone caring items or doing a small favor.

In the other side people say its a good way for students to get ready for adult hood.The students will then have a bank account,will know how to fiance their money,and will help them achieve goals.

Now you may say oh my parents always bribe me."If you get an A, you'll get 100 dollars or a car"How does it effect you in a negative way you may ask your self.But the real question is, do you believe a compliment,a word of encouragement, or a spontaneous treat is the way to reward our children? or Is it to pay them in cold hard cash? All these questions apply to 1st-college grade level.

TV's Now going 3D?

Samsung has added 3D technology to its high definition DLP TVs to give us the great experiences of 3D in our own homes that has evolved over the years. With the tv a pair sleek active glasses will be given at which if needed more, they will be sold separately to actually help give off the 3-D effect. Other cool contributes that are giving with the TV is the act of video games and your favorite sport games also will be viewed in active 3D. "Or for so as they say ". The act of playing a shooting video game on a 3D TV with the sound of speeding bullets actually coming at you is know to be some kids dream come true. It sounds like such a great invention but is it truly worth the $3,299.99 that is sold at retail price. Mind you its the first of its kind so the 3D projection picture that is show can probably become more visual and advance in the upcoming years. Almost like Disney Word has their 3D shows located at MGM studios.

Sentenced to Life

Ten months ago Mark Becker, 24, entered his old high school and fired six/seven shots at his former football coach. Becker also kicked, stomped, cursed at Ed Thomas according to the 22 football players in the gym at the time. Coach Thomas was an idol in his small Iowa town, he was the coach for 37 seasons. Not only did Coach Thomas's sons, grandchildren, wife hurt from this but the whole town had sympathy for the Thomas family. Becker suffers from paranoid schizophrenia but the courts convicted him of first-degree murder, denying his plea for insanity.
Coach Thomas's sons finally addressed Becker and had harsh statements to their father's murderer...
"Every day as you live in jail, I want you to reflect on what you stole from us."
"It;s too bad you made the choices you made, you'll never understand how much you hurt our family, nor do I think you care."
"Your worst punishment is still to come, when your time on Earth is over and you have to answer to God for the murder of my father."
Becker should be in jail, schizophrenia or not. He took a life on purpose and must pay. His sons have every right to feel that way towards him. This man came and killed their innocent father for no reason. If someone killed my father out of the blue I would want them to regret doing that, why should someone enjoy their life when they took another?

What is wrong with people now a days?

Lately I've been hearing about all these stories about kids being bullied and taking their lives over it. People are taking time out of their life to constantly harass other kids for the dumbest reasons ever. For example, the story with the girl who killed herself because she was constantly getting bullied by guys and girls. She was raped by two of the boys. The one girl who was the main person who bullied this girl would harass her 24/7, even when she got home. She was called names and pushed around and just harassed constantly over a boy. It was because her relationship ended with a popular senior boy so people felt as though she was a good person to pick on. They felt as though she was an easy target because she was the new girl. Basically she got tired of the constant bullying and couldnt take it anymore so she hung herself. I honestly do not understand how people could treat other people this way. And worse of it all when the main girl found out the other girl killed herself she commented a post on facebook that said....accomplised. I dont know.. this is insane to me. How can you be okay with yourself knowing another human took their live because of you. It sounds like this girl and everyother perosn who she was bullied by is simply in human. There are so many more stories out there that involve bullying and commiting suicide from it. How does somone have the heart to this? like really!

Is Game testing a real job?

In my opinion it is because you can make a living out of it, you earn alot of money by pointing out the defects of a game, the salary can go as high as 150$ an hour thats for the top gaming companies.

There are some requirements to become a game tester like good memory, have a big knowledge about video games and of course be really good at playing games, usually they hire the top players of the most popular games: like call of duty , guitar hero, etc.

There is an alternative to make money playing games there is a website to make bets called brignit.com you can just placed your bet and if you win you earn the money that the other player bet.

Some people think that these kind of jobs dont exist but its true playstation just made a reality show to hire their next game tester the name of the show is The Tester and you can find the show in youtube or if you have a ps3 just go to the store and download the show.

Most of this jobs require to be 21 and to have completed high school and I think those are the major requirements so if you are really good in a video game give this job a shot, you can make alot of money.

High School Days

It's already known by many that I am injured. The thing is, I've come to realize how difficult it is to go through a whole day without being upset in some way because of my injury. Of course my friends are calling me stupid names like crippled or gimpy or if you’re Masud, hip hop. I don’t feel the need to approach them about the name calling because they know when things are taken too far. Fact is, people who I don’t even know are starting to disrespect me by cutting me off while I'm trying to get by or calling me crippled while they walk away laughing. Funny huh? For example, a boy and his girlfriend are walking behind me and the boy figures it would be okay to say "excuse me cripple." Just cause you said excuse me doesn't make you nice after you ruined it by being ignorant and calling me a name. I don’t find anything funny about my injury. The fact that I don’t even know if I'll be able to dance again doesn’t seem to matter in anyone’s mind but my own. I understand there are going to be an abundant amount of people who are ignorant in the world. I understand that there will also be a great amount of people with kind enough hearts to at least help me out. It just amazes me how rude people our age can really be. Are people really finding joy in someone else’s pain?Wow.

Engagement Ring Etiquette

I read an article today about a couple who was once engaged. They broke up because the groom-to- be allegedly cheated. They called off the wedding and then went to court. Why? Well, apparently, the bride didn’t feel like returning the engagement ring (valued at $9,000). My automatic response was to say good for you, sister. I mean he cheated on her, right? And, it was a gift. Not to mention that the whole concept of engagement jewelry originated as a gesture of good faith between potential suitors. Back in the old days, when women were viewed as property, a suitor would provide her with a token promising the family that he would take her off their hands, if he failed to do so the token was theirs to keep.
Well, clearly things have changed. Women are not property, but we do have a timeline for being marketable. Young women have a better chance of getting married off when their still fertile and still pretty, so if a man takes her “off the market” for any reasonable amount of time, the ring should serve as compensation, no?
Well, the judge didn’t agree with me. On March 30, Justice F. Dana Winslow ruled that the bride had to return the ring, saying state law allows a person to get property back that was given “in contemplation of marriage” and that “fault in the breakup of an engagement is irrelevant.” What do you think?
